• Early October 2004, Najim traveled for the second to his home country of Afghanistan. The first time was in 2002, when he went there to see his family and friends after years of separation. The second time it wasn't for meeting up with his closed ones, but was for helping and rebuilding Afghanistan. This special journey took over 7 months and he returned may 5th 2005 back to Holland. Except Kabul, Najim went to the district towns of Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar and Badakhshan, where he, besides helping on reconstruction and rebuilding of Afghanistan, took some amazing scenery photographs and added them to this site for your viewing. "Every Afghan around the world should help rebuilding Afghanistan and presume the peace"; Najim Nekzad.

• On July 17th 2005, the first day of the Dutch wandering-events "De Vierdaagse" in Nijmegen, Najim gave a concert with Ahmad Parwez and Obaid Juenda. The rhythms and the new qualities of the afghan music proved to be still very attractive in the ears and hearts of people of various nationalities. Obaid Juenda opened the show with impressing songs and gave the audience a good impression of a rich musical tradition and a good start for the show of Najim Nekzad and Ahmad Parwez. As the program promised, the modern afghan pop music of Najim and Parwez had an irresistible attraction on the public all over the site, it was wonderful to see people of divers background join in with the rhythms and dance of afghan music.
